Migrating Vault to a new server

Hi,

I have Vault 3.1.8 running under ASP.NET 1.1 on a Windows 2000 Server with SQL Server 2000 as the database. I want to migrate Vault from that server to a new server with Vault 3.5. The new server is running Windows Server 2003 Server x64 bit with SQL Server 2005 64 bit edition.

What would be the safest method to migrate? I'm going from .NET 1.1 to .NET 2.0, 32 bit to 64 bit, changing servers, changing OS's, changing SQL Server versions, and upgrading Vault.

From a support standpoint, it would be safest *not* to migrate at this time.

Vault is not yet supported on 64 bit OS's or 64-bit .NET 2.0. Also we haven't tested it on 64-bit SQL Server 2005.

We do plan to support 64-bit but don't have a timeframe just yet.

Has 64 bit support been added to Vault yet, or is there a timeframe for when it will be added?

Vault is not fully supported on 64-bit operating systems. We plan to have support next year, though I don't have a specific time frame as yet.
