Vault Client 3.1.7 Hangs on start

Vault Client 3.1.7 Hangs on start

On starting Vault Client to connect to a newly installed server (also version 3.1.7) hangs on start - logo displayed but cannot Abort. Application has to be killed. Client is Windows XP, Server is Windows 2003

Any suggestions appreciated,

I get this when my disk is full.

Thanks for the reply - unfortunately 70GB space free on client, 60GB free on server...

See if this makes a difference: go to the registry and set HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SourceGear\Vault\Client\Settings\ShowSplash to "False", and see whether that makes a difference.

Found the problem. Was caused by Norton Internet Security firewall - when it was uninstalled the Vault client worked fine.
