Post by Tri » Thu Feb 02, 2006 9:06 am

Hi,

For Vault Server 3.16, it it possible to get latest a file/folder via a https links from a web browser? If yes, is there any documentation?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, this is possible, but you can only get one file at a time.

The web client is very basic and is available as a link from the http://[VaultServer]/VaultService page, or you can go directly to it at http://[VaultServer]/VaultService/VaultWeb

The top page of the web client displays the repositories and from there you can drill down into any folder or file in the repository. The page that displays a folder will show each file and its current version number. Clicking on the version number will download that file. You can also click on the file to see the file's history, and you can get any historical version by clicking on the version number.

Please note that in the page displayed by http://[VaultServer]/VaultService,
there is no mention nor any link to VaultWeb.

I thought I would get the link there but there was none.

Web Client

The Vault Web Client can be accessed from the following link:
