upgrade Vault server - auto-detect settings?

It would be great if, when upgrading the Vault Server, it could automatically detect the settings from the previous install.
E.g., when I go from 3.1.2 to 3.1.5, when prompting if IIS runs as NT Authority or DOMAIN\MACHINE$, please default to the current setting and prompt if if I change it by accident.
