Hi
When I try to connect to server from SOS client, I get this message - 'The Server was unable to connect to the SourceSafe Database. Check your server's log file for additional information.
And in the log file, the following log is posted -
'exception during login - the sourcesafe database path nilesh_rajurkar does not exist '
In reality the user name is nilesh_rajurkar and sourcesafe database is selected correctely from the client.
What could be the reason?
Regards
Sandeep

Do other users get the same error? Did you browse to the location of the srcsafe.ini file in the SOS Server Manager when configuring the database in the Databases tab?
Make sure the account used by the SOS Server service has read/write permission to the location of the VSS database and all the database folders such as "Users," "Data," etc.

The SOS Server service may have a problem accessing the srcsafe.ini for or possibly your user ss.ini file.
