I hav einstalled the new version of VSS (6.0d) and using sourceoffsite but clients that are using sourceoffsite are still seeing all folders even though they do not have security access to them.
We were told we needed to upgrade in order to control this, can I get help on is this a sourceoffsite issue of security.
This is urgent.

Users will still see folders, but not the files in the folders. This is way project rights work in SourceSafe itself, and SOS can't make security tighter than SourceSafe itself.
A summary of how SOS security works with the VSS Automation Components:
If you have VSS 6.0c and earlier on the SOS Server machine, SOS users will see projects and files. However if they don't have project rights, they won't be able to act on the files.
With VSS 6.0d, project rights work the same as in VSS. SOS users will see all projects, but will only see files in projects where they have rights.
