Vault Client for the Mac???

Would be really useful. Any plans for supporting other platforms in the future? Since it's a web service I don't see any reason why not.

We don't have plans for a Mac Client for Vault, at least not for the forseeable future. SourceOffSite, which provides remote access to a VSS database, will support Mac Clients running OS X later this year.

Ximian's mono project is currently working on a Mac port of mono, and when they are finished, Vault's command line client (which currently works on the Unix versions of Mono), will be available on the Mac. But, we don't currently have plans to create a GUI version in the near future.

Mono for Mac, where?

Post by angrycherub » Fri Apr 02, 2004 4:52 pm

I've spent some time on the Mono site and nowhere can I find any info about a package or compilation instructions for getting it to work on OS X. Also, where do I download the Vault command line client?

Is it possible you guys could provide a step-by-step guide for downloading, compiling, and running the command line client on OS X? That would be SO helpful.

Mono still doesn't work on MacOS X. They are making progress, but it's not done yet.
