Setup Project: no checkin if references other project files

We have in a solution two setup projects. They reference Databases, manifest files and dll's from other projects wich are allready under source control.

If we try to checkin the projects we get an error stating that the project couldn't be checked in as there are files allready under source control in other projects.

What can i do to still check in the project and have this references there. The database is only in one file, the manifest and dll file is referenced in both project.
