Sharing specific files quickly

We are looking to use the share facility to create a deployment area for vault, however the whole process seems long winded.

I know we can share whole directories and the share will be recursed, but we only want to share certain files .ASPX for example and not the source code files.

Does anyone know of a way of achieving this without manually recreating the project structure within the deployment area and selecting each file individually??

There currently is not a way to do this in an automated way.

We have gotten a few requests in the past for a "recursive file share", so that it doesn't share the folder, but actually shares all the files, recursively underneath a project.

Would your desire to share some files work if we added a wildcard to that command (e.g., share all files below this folder that match ABC_*.asmx)?

If so, I can add that request to the feature request we already have. However, I can't promise this will get done soon.
