Just recently installed SOS 3.5.3. Seems to be working OK but I need to look at the user's guide. Doing Help->User's Guide... gives me the message:
Unable to open Users Guide
I see a help directory under C:\Program Files\SourceOffSite\help with lots of files and a manual.html.
Is this the user's guide?
Any ideas as to why Help->User's Guide does not work?

Yes, manual.html is the user's guide. Can you open this file? The rest of the files are mostly images.
Not sure why it's not opening -- did you re-arrange the contents of the SOS client directory?
You could try downloading another copy of the SOS client from our SOS downloads page. The client is part of the large download for SOS 3.5.3.

Unable to view users guide
Talked to technical support. They said:
There was an arcane bug in pre-4.0 releases where the User's Guide would not appear in the same session where certain browse buttons were used. Closing and restarting the client should resolve it, if you're seeing this bug.
Closed SOS and restarted and I was able to view the guide.
