Why is version 3.0.5 is much slower that 3.0.1 was? Will it be fixed soon?

Could you describe what types of slowdowns you are experiencing?

Is folder security turned on?

We feel that Check In and Check Out operations became much slower. May be the same is for other operations, but we can't say it definitely because of they are not frequently used.

I have experienced slowdowns using Vault over the internet (no idea about over LAN as I don't have the privlege, but as no-one in the head office is complaining I imagine it works rather well) which due to the consistency of occurance do not seem to be connectivity related.

Performing a get latest over one of our trees usually takes around 40 minutes with v2.0.6, with 3.0.5 it took 4 hours 23 minutes. Also the progress bar reached 100% after around 29 minutes, and the shown file name (on the progress bar) didn't change. There are no files larger than 20MB, and the majority are under 50KB. I have 8600 odd files in the tree for a total of 560MB.
The full tree usually downloaded on v2.0.6 in around 1hour 30 mins.

When performing a checkin of 10 files, the wait time (4 minutes 25 seconds) while when the messages pane showed "Ending the Transaction" and before showing "Transaction completed successfully", was longer than the upload time (15 seconds).

I don't know what this means either, but I do use SSL for connections to Vault, and cannot turn this off (security huh).
