Upgrading to SOS 4.1 from 4.02

Currently I have SOS Version 4.02 with 5 Users, VSS 6 and .NET Framework 1.1. After succesfully installation of SOS 4.1 the following problem displayed by starting the SOS-Server: The service "SourceOffSite 4 Server" was started and then stopped on "local computer". At new try to execute the installation the error message "Internal error 2727. INSTALLDIR3" comes.

Der Dienst kann nicht gestartet werden. System.ArgumentException: Illegales Zeichen in dem Pfad.
