Upgrading from version 1.2.1 to 2.1

Hello. We're thinking about upgrading our version of vault to the latest and greatest. Everything I read says that I can just install it over our current version. I assume this is for both the client and server. Am I correct? Also, does the installation process convert any SQL Server files? I'm trying to get a feel for how long the upgrade would take. We have a pretty big database (although I didn't look to see how big). Plus, we're starting to keep version of MSWord and MSExcel documents, so it will grow even bigger.

The database conversion from 1.2 to 2.0 for the upgrade does not take very long - minutes, perhaps on a large database. And yes, the installers will upgrade - you don't have to uninstall then re-install.

As always, make sure you back up your database before the upgrade.
