Why I can't use cyrillic file names?

Hi,

I can't use files with cyrillic names via SOS. I don't see it in SOS client. In VSS Explorer - no problem. SOS 3.5.3. How I can solve this problem?

It could be because SOS is designed to work with the English language version of the VSS Automation Component. If you have a localized version, SOS won't recognize the non-English text. We have the same issue with Chinese.

You could try using the English language version and see if that makes a difference. It worked for Chinese.

One easy way to do this is to log into our public server at sos.sourceoffsite.com, port 8888 and try using Cyrillic names there, since we use the English version. You can use daffy for username, duck as password.

what's your meaning about using english version? These is only english version on your website.Shall I change the language to english of windows location on Server?
