adding images folder through VS causes error

Post by projectthunder » Mon Feb 07, 2005 11:20 am

When right clicking on a folder in VS and selecting Include in Project the vault begins to rename the files and then produces the attached error message 1 out of 5 images it adds to the prioject. I tried disabling everything like antivirus doesn't seem to have an effect.

Renaming files is something that Visual Studio would tell Vault to do - Vault doesn't rename files within itself unless told to by a user or program.

Is it that VS is trying to put files where it wants them in order to be under source control?

When including files in to the project so they are store in source control. The files are renamed to a guid value then that error comes up and then they are never renamed back.
