I searched the forums and didn't find an answer. hopefully someone's got one....
Is there a way to remove or disable the "Check Our Now (Recursive)" context-menu command in Visual Studio? We use the "Check In Now (Recursive)" command all the time, but when we accidentally hit the "Check Out" command it takes forever to perform in our large projects, and there doesnt appear to be a way to halt the command.
Any solutions?

Disable "Check Out Now (Recursive)" in VS?
Moderator: SourceGear
No, Visual Studio seems to require a recursive checkout for projects and solutions. I tried a single checkout from File->Source Control->Checkout, but the ensuing dialog required that I checkout all or none of the files.
The only way I could specifically check out just the solution or project file was through the GUI Client.
