Connecting to the server (running on Win Server 2003 Std)

I cannot seem to get a remote connection to our server. However, I have succesfully installed the server on my machine and connected to it FROM the server!!!

Could someone suggest what settings on the server need to be enabled/disabled/updated to allow the remote connections?

It turns out that our server was behind a router level firewall and we had to ask for the relevant ports to be opened.
