Install SOS Client 4.1 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 WS

Hello,

I would like to install the SOS client 4.1 on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 WS. After downloading the client, rpm said to me, that the db-4.2 is missing (rhel has only db-4.1), so I installed the missing package (together with the depending packages).

Furthermore I installed GTK+ and GLIBC as said inside the online documentation (http://download.sourcegear.com/misc/sos ... nment1.htm).

If I run the SOS client now, I get an error "./sos: relocation error: ./sos: undefined symbol: gtk_window_set_keep_above". It seems, a window wants to pop up, but it can't.

As I'm relatively new to the whole Linux stuff I don't know what to do ... Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

I finally got it to work. Problem was that the GTK+ didn't have version 2.4. So I downloaded the whole GTK+ stuff, compiled it, set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH and SOS works fine.
